Opinion by Circuit Judge Ilana D. Rovner holds that where medical evidence supported a finding that the claimant suffered headaches and blurred vision, but the ALJ omitted any reference to them in hypothetical questions to VE upon which he relied in denying benefits, the case must be remanded.
Court also found that the ALJ’s rationale for discrediting the claimant’s testimony was not supported by substantial evidence. The claimant had testified that she took up to three hot baths a day to alleviate her pain and muscle spasms. The ALJ found that “there is no clinical support for this extreme limitation in the record.” The Court noted that the record was “replete with evidence of the severe pain Indoranto was suffering as a result of herniated discs and numerous other ailments.” The court concluded that it could not “uphold the ALJ’s decision when it is premised on flawed logic.”
