PDF and HTML–Tools Affect Content

December 3, 2003

Ben and Mena Trott designed the TypePad software I use for this weblog. Their company, Six Apart, hired one Anil Dash as Vice President of Business Development back in April. Besides having a cool name, Anil has his own blog.

In a recent post, Anil argues that “[w]hat we publish is shaped by the way we publish it.” He then discusses the ubiquitous PDF format that law firms and courts are adopting as the standard method of information dissemination. It’s a thoughtful piece worth pondering.

For more on using PDF in the law practice see the PDF for Lawyers website.
